Remote Deposit Capture

Remote Deposit Capture is a service that allows you to easily deposit checks*, anytime and anywhere, using the camera on your iPhone or Android and your Touch Banking app. The funds are deposited into the account you select**, safely and securely.
All you need to know are a few items!
1. You must be signed up for our Touch Banking Mobile Application
2. Prior to capturing the image of the original check, you must endorse the back of the check. Your endorsement must also include “For VFCU Mobile Deposit Only.”
3. Our daily deposit limit is $2,000.00.
4. Deposits received via the Service are processed on business days, which are M-T-TH-F, excluding holidays, until 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time; and Wednesdays until 1 p.m. Deposits that we receive after 3:00 p.m. daily will not be deposited to your account until the end of the following business day.
5. After you receive confirmation that we have received an image, you must securely store the original Check for 60 calendar days after transmission to us and make the original Check accessible to us at our request. Promptly after the 60-day retention period expires, you must destroy the original Check by first marking it “Void” and then destroying it by cross-cut shredding or another commercially acceptable means of destruction.
